With just a few weeks to go before WWE\u2019s newest Netflix project premieres, one of wrestling\u2019s most iconic voices has come forward with strong criticism. WWE Hall of Famer Jake \u201cThe Snake\u201d Roberts made it clear that he is not a fan of the upcoming docuseries, calling it a foolish move by the company.
The series, titled WWE: Unreal<\/em>, is scheduled to debut on Netflix on July 29, 2025. It aims to provide fans with unprecedented access to the behind-the-scenes world of WWE, showcasing how Superstars and staff prepare for the company\u2019s biggest live events. While the production promises to pull back the curtain on the spectacle of professional wrestling, not everyone is excited about what it might reveal.
Speaking on his podcast, Roberts was asked about the upcoming show. His response was blunt. He said they have done everything else to make money, so they might as well try this too.
