New Details Emerge on Vince McMahon’s Private 80th Birthday Party

New backstage details have emerged regarding Vince McMahon’s 80th birthday party, held last week in New York City. The event, which occurred as McMahon faces a significant lawsuit from a former employee, was attended by a mix of current and former WWE stars, revealing mixed feelings among talent regarding their former boss.

The party was intended to be a private event, with guests encouraged to use a professional photographer instead of their own phones. However, the gathering became public after photos were leaked online, including one shared by Jerry Lawler, who was reportedly asked to delete the post.

Notable guests included The Undertaker, John Cena, JBL, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, The Miz, and Maryse. Conspicuously absent were key WWE figures, including Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan. According to the report, there was “no official WWE involvement” in the party, and talent who inquired with management were told that attending was “their business.”

The decision to attend created a moral dilemma for some. One wrestler present stated, “A lot of people here still feel like they owe Vince something, even though he made his money back on them tenfold.” Another admitted to feeling a “moral conflict” about going. Many others reportedly declined their invitations, with some believing that if the roles were reversed, McMahon would have “fired them and never spoken to them again.”

The event took place amid the ongoing lawsuit filed by Janel Grant, who has accused McMahon of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

An attendee who hadn’t seen McMahon in over two years commented on his physical appearance, noting he “looked 80,” seemed “more frail,” and walked slower than before. Sources also emphasized that there has been “no talk” of McMahon returning to WWE in any capacity, as top company officials reportedly have “no desire to bring him back.”
