Former WWE Women’s Champion Makes Surprise Appearance at AEW All Out

In an emotional homecoming, the legendary reunited team of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage defeated FTR to kick off the AEW All Out pay-per-view from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. However, their triumphant celebration was cut short by a brutal post-match attack.

The opening contest, which had Bryan Danielson on special guest commentary, was a dramatic, hard-fought battle years in the making. After receiving a massive hometown reaction, the Canadian duo found themselves on the defensive early as FTR used their signature heel tactics to isolate Christian Cage from his partner.

The momentum shifted after a hot tag to Adam Copeland, who unleashed a flurry of offense. In a surprising moment, Copeland paid tribute to his former rival John Cena, hitting both a Five-Knuckle Shuffle and an Attitude Adjustment on Cash Wheeler for a close near-fall. He later nearly secured the victory after hitting Dax Harwood with Christian’s own finisher, the Killswitch.

The pinfall attempt was broken up when FTR’s manager, Stokely Hathaway, pulled the referee from the ring. This prompted the surprise appearance of Adam Copeland’s wife, former WWE Women’s Champion Beth Copeland. Beth stormed the ring, hit Hathaway with a devastating Spear, and carried him to the back, effectively neutralizing FTR’s advantage.

Following Beth’s intervention, Copeland and Cage were able to secure the victory, but the subsequent post-match assault left a sour note on what was otherwise a storybook reunion.
